GROVE Token
GROVE is the native token of the Grove Protocol, deployed on Ethereum as an ERC-20 with a supply of 10 billion. The token is expected to support Grove governance, including community participation in proposal processes. Staking and voting mechanics will be introduced progressively, subject to applicable terms, final governance documentation, eligibility requirements, and protocol development.
The design and activation of token functionality may evolve over time and are subject to governance decisions and regulatory considerations.

Allocation
10,000,000,000 GROVE tokens were minted at genesis. The majority of GROVE supply is allocated to the Sky Ecosystem. The remaining supply is allocated to the Grove team and contributors for ongoing protocol development, and the Grove Foundation to support ecosystem development and growth.

After initialization, the GROVE token contract (SDAO) has only MCD_PAUSE_PROXY as its authorized admin, meaning only Sky governance can authorize administrative actions on the token contract.

The schedule below is denominated in GROVE tokens and covers the Sky Ecosystem, Team and Contributors, and Grove Foundation allocations. Within the Sky Ecosystem allocation, GROVE is distributed primarily through Sky Ecosystem Rewards, alongside other Sky-supported distribution programs where available.
