Ecosystem Rewards

Ecosystem Rewards connects the Grove App to the Sky Ecosystem Rewards program, through which Sky distributes a portion of its GROVE to USDS suppliers on the schedule published in Sky Atlas. Supply USDS to the Grove Farm, accrue GROVE, and claim or withdraw whenever you choose.

How it works

You supply USDS to the Grove Farm, a staking-rewards contract that tracks each supplier's share of the total supplied balance. GROVE accrues to your position continuously and in proportion to that share. Your supplied USDS is never converted or locked: it stays withdrawable at any time, and accrued GROVE is claimed separately from withdrawing.

Sky, not Grove, controls this distribution. Grove does not issue the GROVE distributed here, does not set the rate at which it is distributed, and cannot change the schedule. See the GROVE Token page for how the Sky Ecosystem allocation is scheduled.

Supplying to the Grove Farm is distinct from Grove Savings. Savings supplies capital into Grove's yield-bearing sUSDS position; the Farm holds your USDS and accrues GROVE distributed by Sky. The two can be used together.

Supplying

  1. Go to the Grove App and connect your wallet.
  2. Open the Rewards page.
  3. Click Supply USDS, or Manage Position if you already have one.
  4. Enter the amount you want to supply.
  5. Approve the token, then confirm the supply transaction in your wallet.

You can supply USDC instead of USDS. The app routes it through the Sky Peg Stability Module in the same flow: it swaps your USDC to USDS and supplies the resulting USDS, so the transaction takes an extra approval and swap step. The PSM's fee applies to the swap, so the USDS supplied may be marginally less than the USDC entered.

Once the transaction confirms, the Rewards page shows the amount you have supplied and the GROVE you have accrued, updating live between blocks.

Claiming GROVE

  1. With your wallet connected, open the Rewards page.
  2. Click Claim GROVE.
  3. Review the amount and confirm in your wallet.

Claiming transfers your accrued GROVE to your wallet and does not touch your supplied USDS, which keeps accruing. The button is unavailable when your accrued balance is zero.

The GROVE you claim can be staked for governance rights, and GROVE received through Ecosystem Rewards carries an additional weighting in the Seeds Program once it is staked and delegated.

Withdrawing USDS

  1. With your wallet connected, open the Rewards page.
  2. Click Manage Position, then select Withdraw.
  3. Enter the amount you want to withdraw.
  4. Confirm in your wallet.

There is no lock-up and no withdrawal delay. Withdrawing reduces the share your future accrual is calculated on; GROVE you have already accrued but not yet claimed remains claimable.

How the rate is determined

The rate at which GROVE accrues to your position is not fixed. It moves with three things:

  • the GROVE issuance schedule set by Sky Ecosystem Governance,
  • the market price of GROVE, and
  • your share of the total USDS supplied to the Farm.

Any rate shown in the app is an estimated annual rate, not a guaranteed return. Grove does not control the issuance or distribution of these rewards, and estimates are informational only. They do not guarantee future results.
